As December comes to an end, a month of reflection, gratitude, and hope, we find ourselves looking back on a year filled with challenges, triumphs, and the quiet, everyday moments that remind us of why our mission matters. It’s a season when generosity feels especially meaningful, and for nonprofits like ours, the impact of year-end giving reaches far beyond the holidays.

While every gift throughout the year fuels our work, most of our donations are given at the end of the year. Those gifts play a unique role and help us close the books on the current year and build a stable foundation for the next. Quite simply:

For us, that means being able to give care with confidence. Your donations allow us to staff for patient care, secure supplies and equipment, or expand programs that have changed lives. Giving Tuesday: A Day of Collective Goodwill

This year’s Giving Tuesday was a beautiful reminder of what our communities can accomplish together. We raised over $20,000! YOU showed up with nothing but immense generosity, kindness, and compassion. 

Davis and Bana Caskey, members of the Richmond metropolitan community, are one of those generous community members. Learning about the Clinic through our summer newsletter and wanting to get involved, they helped us create our first-ever Giving Tuesday match campaign. This allowed us to double every gift provided this year up to $5,000. We could not have raised this much without them.

The support didn't just help us meet our Giving Tuesday goal; it also energized our team and reaffirmed the strength of our mission. This year’s funds raised are already being put to work, fueling essential services and helping us enter the final stretch of the year with hope.
