With your help, we can continue to deliver important preventative and chronic care to help our patients remain healthy, reduce unnecessary visits to the emergency room, and avoid missed time from work due to illness.
The Free Clinic of Powhatan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization funded by contributions from individuals, businesses, churches, community/civic organizations and foundations, and in-kind support from numerous local partners. The Clinic receives no insurance reimbursement and therefore must continually raise funds to meet our mission.
Giving to the Clinic is an enormous return on your investment. Every dollar received makes a difference! For example, here is how your generosity directly impacts our patients:

$200 provides Morgan one 30-day supply of medication

Individual Gift
Individuals may make a monetary contribution at any time online or by mailing a check payable to;

Matching Gift
Many employers match either a portion of or all of their employees’ charitable donations to nonprofit organizations. Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to see if this is an option!
Stock Gift
You may consider donating long-term appreciated securities, including stocks, bonds and mutual funds, directly to the Clinic. Please call Connie Moslow at (804) 598-5637 for more information.
Gift In Honor or Memory
Donations may be made to the Clinic in honor or memory of special persons in your life. When making such a donation, please provide the recipient or the family’s name to be honored and contact information.
Legacy Gift
Donations may be made to the Clinic as part of your will or estate plan or naming the Clinic as a beneficiary of an IRA or retirement plan. Please call Elizabeth Ream at (804) 598-5637 for more information.

Community Giving Campaigns
The Clinic participates in the following community giving campaigns:
Kroger Community Rewards
To enroll, create/login to your Kroger Community Rewards account. In the search bar to select your charity, type “Free Clinic Powhatan” and click SEARCH. Select the Clinic then click SAVE.
myWalgreens Donation Program
To enroll, create/login to your Walgreens account at Walgreens.com or in the Walgreens app. Designate “Free Clinic Powhatan” as your charity of choice for Cash Rewards. You can select a denomination or allow all Cash Rewards to come to the Free Clinic of Powhatan during designated Walgreen campaign cycles.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Free Clinic of Powhatan. The Clinic could not operate without our volunteers who generously donate their time and expertise to help our patients.
