Connie Moslow

Retired Founder

Connie is a graduate of Buffalo State Teachers College and went on to teach special need’s children. She moved to Powhatan from Buffalo, New York in 1987 and volunteered on several human services committees and Boards, served as Powhatan Christmas Mother and participated in numerous community projects. She has received many honors for her volunteer work including the Richmond YMCA’s Volunteer of the Year Award. In 2007, Connie realized the need for health care services in Powhatan, researched extensively and went on to establish the Free Clinic of Powhatan. She volunteered as the Executive Director for fifteen years.

Connie, her husband Bill, and their five children and families all reside in the area.
