Debra Baber

Debra Bader is an experienced healthcare leader with nearly four decades of service in community health. She served as Director of Clinical Operations at Central Virginia Health Services (CVHS) from 2005 to 2023 and practiced as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from 1985 to 2010, developing extensive expertise in community health center operations and the delivery of care to Medicare and Medicaid populations.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia, completed her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification in 1980, and later received a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University in 2016.
Throughout her career, Debra has been recognized for her strategic leadership, collaborative approach, and commitment to improving healthcare access and organizational performance. Her experience working with clinical teams, senior leadership, and community stakeholders has helped organizations strengthen operations and advance their missions.
She remains dedicated to supporting healthcare organizations and community initiatives that improve the health and well-being of the populations they serve.
